We are glad to announce that INERGIAE Static Converters has become our first silver sponsor for the COBEP/SPEC 2023.

INERGIAE Static Converters is a start-up in the field of Power Electronics that has experience in the development, production and commercialization of high-voltage power supplies (main product) and other converters. The company was formally founded in 2013 but began actual operations in 2014.

The company was created with the goal of researching and developing high-voltage power supplies, based on the work of a master’s degree developed at a Brazilian university by the founder of the company, who developed a converter to drive a TWT valve, whose application is in the military field.

At the end of 2015, INERGIAE was contracted by the electric power utility company to develop a microinverter for use in photovoltaic systems. The development of this equipment requires knowledge of Power Electronics, but in another line of activity, other than high voltage sources. However, the knowledge acquired in the project was very interesting. The project had a duration of 2.5 years and had an intense interaction with a Brazilian university, where it originated a master’s thesis and made possible for 2 other students (1 master’s student and 1 doctoral student) to participate in the development project.

In the year 2016, at the request of LabMat (a Materials Engineering lab of a university), a pulsed source was developed, with a voltage of -750V and +100V, frequency up to 100kHz, pulse duration of less than 1 microsecond. There was born the DRUM model that is used in research work in the field of PECVD (Plasma Enhanced Chemical Vapor Deposition).

INERGIAE has a strong link with the research sector and, through interaction with researchers, has been expanding its product line and improving its technical quality. In the national market, INERGIAE stands out for the variety of its products and the high voltage and power of its equipment.
